Attachment of coding pins to the individual terminals, to prevent mistakes when replacing the
terminals.
Terminal cover
Device for covering terminal strips in a control cabinet.
Thermistor connection
Connection for a PTC sensor (PTC = positive temperature coecient).
Thermocouple
Temperature sensor, made of two dierent, but permanently joined materials (usually metal),
at the shared interface of which a thermoelectric voltage arises that is evaluated to determine
the temperature.
Three-step controller
Discrete controller in which the output quantity cannot assume any required setting, but only
one of three switch positions.
