Detachment
1. Hold the biopsy adapter firmly on the sides and pull it upwards to remove it from the
transducer.
Example of Bracket disassembly.
2. Remove the biopsy guide plate from the biopsy guide cover.
Disposal
Dispose of the needle and the transducer sheath according to local, state, and regional laws
and regulations for biohazardous waste.
If the biopsy bracket assembly becomes damaged or compromised in any way, dispose of it
only after sterilizing. The assembly is made of polyetherimide resin. When disposing of the
assembly, be sure to comply with all applicable laws or regulations.
