Patient Registration
Note: You can schedule a patient and procedure(s) using a connected Hospital Information
System/Radiology Information System (HIS/RIS) server. Use the patient browser to retrieve patient
data for scheduled patients.
Registering or Pre-registering a Patient
To register a patient:
 Click Patient Registration on the toolbar.

Select the type of registration
form
 Click Short Form to display the fields defined for the short form.
 Click Long Form to display the fields defined for the long form.
Enter registration information for
a new patient
1. If necessary, click New Patient on the patient registration form.
2. Enter the required information in the form.
Edit information in the patient
registration form during an active
examination
1. Click Correct on the patient registration form.
2. Enter or edit the required information in the form.
Access data for an existing or
preregistered patient
1. In the patient registration form, select the required database from the
database list.
2. Enter the patient's name or other known information in the Search field.
3. Select the required patient from the displayed list.
The system populates the patient registration form with data for the selected
patient.
Access patient data from a
connected server or storage
media
 Click Patient Browser on the toolbar and then select the required server or
storage media.
