C - 10 Instructions for Use
Control Name Active Function Description
4D 3D or 4D ---
Press 4D to activate 3D or 4D setup. The system activates 4D setup or
3D setup, depending on the active transducer and exam type.
During system freeze, rotate 4D to adjust the brightness.
During live imaging, rotate 4D to adjust the volume gain.
M M-mode Imaging
Press M to activate M-mode and display the M-mode sweep and
2D image according to the format selected in the system configuration
menu.
Rotate M to adjust the gain.
Use the system configuration menu to select the default action of the
M control for cursor display.

System Config > Doppler / M-Mode Setup
C, X Color --- Press C to activate or exit Color Doppler imaging.
Note: Use the soft keys to activate either Color Doppler Velocity
(CDV) or Color Doppler Energy (CDE).
    Color Rotate
 to adjust the gain.
    3D or 4D
Rotate X to rotate the selected MPR (multi-planar reformatting)
quadrants around the x-axis.
PW, Y Pulsed Wave Doppler
Press PW to activate the pulsed wave (PW) Doppler function for linear,
curved, and phased array transducers.
Rotate PW to adjust the gain.
    3D or 4D
Rotate Y to rotate the selected MPR (multi-planar reformatting)
quadrants around the y-axis.

Use the system configuration menu to specify Doppler settings,
including cursor on/off and cursor audio mode, when you first activate
pulsed wave Doppler.

System Config > Doppler / M-Mode Setup
CW, Z
Continuous
Wave
Doppler
Press CW to activate the steerable continuous wave (SCW) Doppler
function for phased array transducers.
Rotate CW to adjust the gain.
    3D or 4D
Rotate Z to rotate the selected MPR (multi-planar reformatting)
quadrants around the z-axis.

Use the system configuration menu to specify Doppler settings,
including cursor on/off and cursor audio mode, when you first activate
continuous wave Doppler.
