Date and time synchronization
Two mechanisms are available for date and time synchronization:
● Synchronization of the time used in the KNX network with the time of the LOGO! 8.
● Synchronization of the time used in the LOGO! 8 with the time in the KNX network.
The CMK2000 does not have a real-time clock. Depending on the parameterized
time/synchronization mechanism, the device fetches the time cyclically from the LOGO!
or from the KNX network and passes it on to the respective other side.
An unchanged transfer of the date only occurs between 1.1.2000 and 31.12.2089.
Parameter assignment options:
● No synchronization (default)
● KNX specifies the time and date
The settings for time synchronization made in the LOGO! are ignored.
● LOGO! specifies the time and date
Synchronization of the time used in the LOGO! 8 with the time in the KNX network.
● Following device start from CMK2000 or LOGO!
● Following return of bus voltage
● Cyclically every hour
● Upon change in time
Note
The settings in LOGO! Soft Comfort with respect to date/time synchronization are made
independently of synchronization via KNX. In the event of an unfavorable configuration, both
time/date synchronization mechanisms act on the LOGO!.
