4.3.1 Layer 2 configuration
Higher-level functions can be configured in the basic configuration of layer 2
("Layer 2 > Configuration"). The following settings are provided for the Service
Bridge:

(1) The redundancy function is disabled with the setting "Redundancy Type": "-",
since the Service Bridge is only provided with a stub connection to the plant
bus.
(2) The "Passive Listening" function is disabled, as Spanning Tree BPDUs (Bridge
Protocol Data Unit) should not be forwarded.
(3) The "Loop Detection" function is enabled.
