Figure 4-5 illustrates a Class B network with an interface to a Monitoring-Only application via the MOSA
and no control on any panels at the Desigo CC/Cerberus DMS. Note that the UL864 switch is not
required.

4.5.1 Monitoring-Only Applications – Control on Other Panels
Figure 4-6 illustrates a Class B network with an interface to a Monitoring-Only application via the MOSA,
but one in which the Desigo CC/Cerberus DMS has control of other panels.
Since the Desigo CC/Cerberus DMS has control of some panels, UL864 infrastructure is required for
those panels. However, connections may be made from the UL864 switch to non-UL864 building
infrastructure for the Monitoring Only application.
