4.5 Discrete Output Status
4.5.1
Bits 13 to 16 of word 56 report the status of the discrete outputs to the PLC.
The module does not have LEDs to indicate output conditions, so these bits
are provided to permit monitoring by the user .
Bits 13–16 indicate commands sent to the logic side of the module
only; they provide no indication of the status of the output on the
user’ s side of the module. LEDs or other indicators should be used
if it is critical to monitor the status of the outputs on the load side
of the module.
