4.1 Description
The module includes four fast-response discrete outputs. The outputs are
updated by the module, thus avoiding delays caused by PLC scan rates.
This provides you with a means to control auxiliary processes or functions
without the additional cost and space requirements of a separate module.
The discrete output circuits are of the sourcing configuration, acting as a
switch to supply voltage/current (from a user
-provided power supply) to the
application load. The outputs cannot be used in a sinking configuration,
which provides a current path from the negative side of the load to ground.
