Degree of protection for overall device
If you are fastening the device via a VESA adapter, degree of protection IP65 of the device is
lost.
Spray and water jets as well as penetrating substances can then damage the device.
Dimensioning of the VESA adapter
When selecting the VESA adapter, make sure that it is designed for at least four times the

Inadequately dimensioned fastening material may cause the device to fall down. Serious
bodily injury may result.
Make sure that fasteners are adequately dimensioned during installation of the device.
Make sure to consider the weight of the device and the forces acting on the device when
dimensioning the fasteners. This applies in particular to dynamic load of the device. All
fasteners including mounting surfaces, support arm systems, and fastening elements such
as screws must be able to carry at least four times the weight of the device.
Observe any further statutory specifications applying at the location of use of the device and
further applicable regulations with regard to the fastening of the device.
Procedure
1. Attach the VESA adapter 100 x 100 mm to the marked locations.
2. To do this, use M4x10 screws with property class 8.8 and tighten these with a torque of 3
Nm.
