6.5 Memory modules
6.5.1 Installing and removing a memory module
The motherboard is equipped with one slot for an SO-DIMM DDR4 memory module. You can
use it to expand the memory capacity of the device to a maximum of 32 GB.
Usable memory modules
• DIMM DDR4 memory modules
• Memory transaction rate 3200 MT/sec "unbuffered"
• "without ECC" or "with ECC"
Note
Use only the memory modules recommended by Siemens AG.
Requirement
• The device is open, see important information under "Opening the device (Page 61)".
Procedure - Removal
1.
Push down the module clips
towards the outside.
The memory module tilts for-
ward.
Note
: The left holder is lo-
cated under the cover (not im-
mediately visible from above)
2.
Remove the memory module
from the slot.
