Remove the M.2 NVMe SSD as shown
out of the slider.
9.
Carefully separate the M.2 NVMe SSD
from the adapter plate.
10.
Plug the new M.2 NVMe SSD into the
adapter plate. Make sure that the coding
is aligned correctly.
11.
Reassemble the slider completely with
the newly inserted M.2 NVMe SSD
- in
reverse order to steps 8 to 5.
Only use the original screws.
If the card length has changed, the red
spa
cer must be moved to the suitable
screw position.
12.
Slide the slider into the drive bay until
you hear the slider click into place.
13.
Place the slider cover in the device and
fasten it with the Torx
T10 type screw-
driver.
Note
To ensure reliable operation of the devices with SIMATIC IPC Slider, the slider must be closed
with the cover.
