Pre-installation Guidelines
A good grounding system is essential for proper operation of the
system. It is one of the most important considerations in planning
your installation.
Failure to provide a good grounding system could result in death or
serious injury to personnel and/or damage to equipment.
Ensure that you have a good grounding system when you install
your equipment.

To ground equipment directly to the sub-panel,
follow these steps:
1. Remove the finish from the equipment at
areas of contact.
2. T ighten the first nut.
3. T ighten the second nut.
Y ou may need a lock washer to prevent the nut
in Step 3 from backing of f.
T
o attach ground leads to the sub-panel,
follow these steps:
1. Remove the finish from the equipment at
areas of contact.
2. T ighten the bolt.
