4.5 Connecting a Printer
The
CPU has the capability to send information to a printer through the use
of an SF program or SF subroutine. The printer connects to Port 1 and uses
RS-232 protocol. Cabling for the two available handshaking options are as
follows:
XON/XOFF printer handshaking; see Figure 4-13.
READY/BUSY printer handshaking; see Figure 4-14.
NOTE: Set
dipswitch 2 on the
CPU to the OFF
position for printing.
