Installing the TI545/TI555 CPU (continued)
Refer
to Figure 3-10 and follow the steps below to install the CPU.
1.
Disconnect power to the base.
Disable
all power before installing or removing the CPU.
Failure to do so could cause death or serious injury and/or damage
to equipment.
Ensure that all power is disabled before installing or removing the
CPU.
2. Position
the CPU so that the bezel is facing you.
3.
Grasp the top and bottom of the CPU module.
4.
Carefully push the module into the slot until it mates with the back
plane connectors.
5. T
ighten top and bottom bezel screws.
T
o remove the CPU, disconnect the RS-485 cable from the I/O port, if it is
connected, and reverse the installation procedure.
Minimum
torque: 2.61 in-lb (0.3 N-m)
Maximum torque: 5.22 in-lb (0.6 N-m)
