Exactly one TM54F can be assigned to each drive control (SINAMICS Integrated of a
D4x5-2, CX32-2, CU320-2, etc.). Connection is via DRIVE-CLiQ. Each drive control must
have its own dedicated TM54F.
Additional nodes (e.g. TMxx, SMxx, MMxx) can be connected to the same DRIVE-CLiQ line.
TM54 is equipped with the following terminals:

Sensors: Fail-safe devices for commanding and detecting, such as emergency stop
pushbuttons and safety locks as well as position switches and light arrays / light curtains.

Dynamic response: The sensor power supply is switched on and off during test stop for
testing the sensors, the cable routing, and the evaluation electronics of TM54F.
The TM54F has four fail-safe digital outputs and ten fail-safe digital inputs. A fail-safe digital
output consists of a P/M-switching output as well as a digital input for reading back the
switching state. A fail-safe digital input is made up of two digital inputs.
CAUTION
The 50 mm clearances above and below the component must be observed.
