Note
You might need to access the information provided on the side-mounted type plate after the
installation. The type plate is located on the right-hand side of the module housing and is
covered by a SINAMICS S120 module when mounted. For this reason, we recommend that
you make a note of the serial number of the control unit prior to assembly.
Note
The information contained in each field of the type plate on your actual control unit may differ
from that presented in this manual (for example, a later product version, approvals and
marks that have not yet been granted, e.g. C-Tick, etc.).
MAC addresses
A second type plate for the MAC addresses of the two Ethernet interfaces and the
PROFINET IO interface is attached to the front of the device. You see this type plate when
you open the front cover of the control unit.
