Memory reset with the mode switch
You can perform a memory reset with the mode switch when you are offline with the
SIMOTION D410‑2.
NOTICE
Damage from electrostatic discharge
The rotary switch can be destroyed by static electricity.
Operate the rotary switch only with an insulated screwdriver.
Comply with the ESD rules.
Proceed as follows to reset the memory:
1.
Place the mode switch in the STOP position (selector setting 2).
2. When
the RUN/STOP LED is steadily yellow, turn the switch to the MRES position (switch
position 3).
The RUN/STOP LED starts to flash slowly (slow yellow flashing).
Wait until the RUN/STOP LED stops flashing.
3.
Turn the selector back to the STOP setting.
