1. Open the cover of the junction box ① and remove the fan cables.
2. Remove the front M8 screws for the brackets ②.
3. Loosen the rear M8 fastening screws ③ for the fan.
4. Pull out the fan and remove it from the converter.
Eyebolts can be fitted on top of the fan so that it can be lifted out of the converter more easily.
CAUTION
Injury due to a falling fan
The fans are very heavy (> 50 kg).
If incorrectly handled, fans can fall and result in injury and material damage.
● Please take special care when removing the fans from the converter.
Installing the fan
1. Insert the new fan.
2. Move the fan onto the rear screws ③. Align the fan.
3. Insert the front screws M8 ②. Tighten the screws with a torque of 13 Nm.
4. Tighten the rear screws M8 ③ (tightening torque: 13 Nm).
5. Connect the fan cable.
6. Close the cover of the junction box ①.
9.4.7 Load operator panel firmware, parameter and signal descriptions
As of software version V2.4, the following data is stored on the CompactFlash card of the drive:
● The AOP firmware
● The parameter and signal descriptions
● All operator panel languages
The new software version is detected during the initial activation of the AOP on a drive.
The following data is displayed:
● Firmware being loaded
Yes: Vxx.xx.xx (new software version)
No: Vxx.xx.xx (currently loaded software version)
