Preparation
1. Detach the fiber-optic cables for the IGBT power semiconductors on the front and rear of the
PowerCard.
2. Disconnect the auxiliary power supply for the gating boards from the rear.
3. On each IGBT, remove the six screw connections ① between the phase busbars and the
screw connection ② between the phase busbar and the neutral potential.

Removing the PowerCard
1. Remove the PowerCard.
CAUTION
Power card can cause injury if it is dropped
A PowerCard weighs 20 kg. If the PowerCard falls down, it could cause personal injury or
damage to property.
● Carefully lift out the PowerCard.
