6.5.6 Connect the auxiliary voltage
Connect the auxiliary voltage 1-phase 230 VAC / 50 Hz
Connect the auxiliary voltage for SITOP, GSV, closed-loop control, open-loop control – for
example – to the terminal strip. The maximum cross section of the cables is 2.5 mm
2
.
With options C30 - C49, the auxiliary voltage can be drawn from the matching transformer. You
will find notes in the circuit manual of the drive.
Connect the auxiliary voltage 3-phase 400 VAC / 50 Hz
1. Connect the auxiliary voltage for fans, precharging, etc. to the terminal block. The maximum
permissible conductor cross-section is 4 mm
2
.
2. To connect the cables, move the cover upward.
3. Attach the cables to the appropriate connections.

6.5.7 Connecting the control cables to the circuit-breaker for the capacitor release
(option N20)
"ON" and "OFF" commands
To transfer two "OFF" commands, you need at least two redundant three-core cables. To
transfer one "ON" command, you need an additional two-core cable.
Use shielded cables with a minimum cross-section of 0.75 mm

.
Place the shields on the shield bar provided in the control cabinet.
Connect the cables in accordance with the following table:
Terminal Cable Circuit-breaker
X950 : 1 Cable 1 L + from circuit-breaker
X950 : 2 OFF switching command to circuit-breaker
X950 : 3 L – from circuit-breaker
X950 : 4 Redundant cable 2 L + redundant from circuit-breaker
X950 : 5 OFF switching command redundant to circuit-breaker
X950 : 6 L – redundant from circuit-breaker
X950 : 7 Cable 3 ON supply cable from circuit-breaker
X950 : 8 ON switching command to circuit-breaker
