If several cabinets are set up as one unit, the grounding bars of the individual cabinets must be
connected with each other. A connection jumper is supplied with each cabinet. To connect the
ground bars for several cabinets, proceed as follows:
1. Release the screw ① of the grounding bar at the first cabinet. Remove the nut, the washer
and the connection jumper ②.

2. Release the nut of the grounding bar on the second cabinet. Remove the nut and the
washer.
3. Place the connection jumper ② on the grounding bars in the cabinets to be connected.
4. Refit the washer and nut.
5. Tighten the nut (torque: 50 Nm).

5.7.1 Preparation
If several cabinets are lined-up to create a group, you must connect the DC bus of the individual
cabinets to one another.
Preparing the contact surfaces of the DC bus
1. Clean the contact surfaces with a clean cloth soaked in ethanol.
