Expanding SimpleShare’s Capabilities
EXPANDING SIMPLESHARE’S CAPABILITIES
CONNECTING A USB PRINTER
1 Connect one end of a USB cable to the USB port on the
printer. Connect the other end of the cable to one of the
USB ports on SimpleShare.
2 Connect AC power and power on the printer according
to the instructions provided by the manufacturer.
3 In the Administration menu, click Basic.
4 Click to restart SimpleShare and apply your
changes.
5 In the confirmation dialog, click .
6 Run SimpleShare Administrator to setup print server
services on SimpleShare. See “Enabling the Print
Server” on page 98.
If you are setting up SimpleShare for the first time,
complete the basic setup before running SimpleShare
Administrator.
