19 Implement Lift Service
Lift Cylinder Replacement
6 From underneath the tractor, disconnect hydraulic
hoses (E, Figure 7) and remove the fittings (D) from
lift cylinder assembly.
7. Remove the cotter pin (C) from the clevis pin (B) that
is securing the lift cylinder (H) to the lift shaft assem-
bly (A). Slide clevis pin out.
8. Remove the klip ring (G) from the pivot shaft (F) that
is securing the lift cylinder (H).
9. Remove the lift cylinder (H) from the tractor.
10. Assemble in reverse order.
CAUTION
Plug line and cylinder after removal to prevent
system contamination.
WARNING
If ANY hydraulic fluid is injected into the skin, it
must be surgically removed within a few hours
by a doctor familiar with this type of injury or
gangrene may result.
