Model Identification
This manual contains service information for the models
listed on the following page (and similar models produced
after this manuals printing). Consult the Identification Tag
located on the rider frame for the manufacturer’s identifi-
cation number and serial number.
Always use the manufacturer’s identification number and
serial number when ordering parts or documentation.
Attachments are not covered in this manual. Refer to the
attachment Operators Manual or Parts Manual for ser-
vice information.
Transmissions are identified by identification number
tags located on the transmission casing.
At the time of this printing, Legacy Series tractors have
been built with four basic engine configurations. These
three basic types are referred to throughout this manual.
When a service procedure is specific to a certain model,
that model will be identified as one of the groups listed at
right.
