3-8 Scan Operation
Scanning is an eective way to locate signals quickly over a wide frequency range.
All Scan
All channels in the set are scanned sequentially, in repeated cycles (CH16 is checked every
1.5 seconds).

3CH Scan
Press and hold down the SCAN key in the 3CH mode, you will then enter a 3CH SCAN
mode. However, only the 3CH and CH16 will be scanned.

3-9 Navigation mode
Press and hold down NAV key to enter the Navigation Mode. It will display: Bearing,
Distance and cross track error from the last selected waypoint.
If no WP is set, ‘NO ACTIVE ROUTE!!’ will appear to prompt you that no WP is selected, see
the next section to select a Waypoint to navigate to.
During Nav Mode:
• PTT Return to normal mode and TX; release to return to Navigation
mode
