7.3 STABILITY
The machine stability is based on two conditions: for-
ward stability and backward stability. See the following
figures and description for the positions of the least for-
ward stability and the least backward stability.
Do not overload the platform or operate the
machine on tilted surface exceeding the
maximum allowable tilt angle to prevent forward
or backward tipping.
Fig 1 Position of least forward stability
1. Boom fully extended;
2. Boom kept horizontal;
3. Turntable rotated 90°;
4. The machine will tip over in the direction as indicated by the arrow if overloaded or operating on a tilted surface
exceeding the maximum allowable tilt angle.
