OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Boom fully retracted;
2. Main boom fully elevated;
3. Jib fully elevated;
4. Turntable rotated 90°;
5. Platform rotated 90°;
6. The machine will tip over in the direction as indicated by the arrow if overloaded or operating on a tilted surface
exceeding the maximum allowable tilt angle.
7.4 GRADEABILITY
Gradeability refers to the maximum allowable slope an-
gle the machine can climb when it is on solid ground
and has sufficient traction and the platform is stowed
and carrying only one person. As the weight of the plat-
form increases, the maximum allowable slope angle will
be decreased.
Do not drive the machine on the slope exceeding
the machine’s maximum allowable climbing
angle.
The gradeability (maximum climbing angle) include up-
slope/downslope and side slope climbing ability. The up-
slope/downslope climbing ability of this machine:
Downslope: 45%/24°
Upslope: 30%/17°
The side slope climbing ability of this machine:
Side slope: 25%/14°
7.5 ENGINE OPERATION (TOPIC)
Startup Sequence
Note: The initial start must always be done from the
ground controller.
NOTICE
If the engine fails to get started immediately, do not
keep starting the engine for too long, and try to start
the engine again. If a restart still fails, allow the starter
to cool down for 2–3min. If the engine still fails to get
started after several attempts, please reference the
engine manual.
Note: Before starting the engine, the operator should
first turn on and hold the engine glow plug switch for 6～
10s to let the engine take in air for preheating. Due to
different ambient temperatures, the warm-up time will
be different, and the engine can only be started after the
engine warm-up icon goes out. (An electronically con-
trolled engine can be preheated automatically)
1. Turn the ground/platform control selector switch on
the ground controller to ground control position.
2. Pull out the emergency stop button on the ground
controller to ON position.
3. Turn the key switch on the ground controller to the
ON position.
4. Flip the engine start switch on the ground controller
to start the engine (no more than 15s).
NOTICE
Before applying any load, allow the engine to run
at low speed for 3min～5min to warm up.
5. After the engine has been warmed up adequately,
pull out the emergency stop button on the ground
controller to OFF position and turn off the engine.
6. Turn the ground/platform control selector switch on
the ground controller to platform control position.
