Crystallization / glazing process IPS e.max CAD
1. Select the job.
2. Select the process.
- "Crystallize" with or without using IPS e.max CAD Crystall./Glaze
Spray
- "Crystallize/glaze" using IPS e.max CAD Crystall./Glaze Paste
3. Load the furnace (see "Loading the furnace for glazing [ → 39]").
4. Start the process by touching the start icon.
The furnace closes automatically and performs the selected
process.
The furnace opens automatically following successful heat
treatment. The process is not yet completed here as the last
cooling-off phase occurs in an open condition.
5. As the restoration is still very hot in this phase, only unload the
furnace using metallic or ceramic tweezers and do not touch the
restoration directly. Plastic tweezers are not suitable for removing
restorations. Place the restoration on the fire-proof tray (A) for further
cooling – avoid the draft.
WARNING
Risk of burning
The restoration and parts of the door insulation may still be hot.
➢ Always pick up some tweezers to remove the restoration from the
furnace.
➢ Allow the restoration to cool down for another five minutes before
picking it up with your hands.
