5.8.6 Tool Help
Tool Help provides information from this manual as well as from each of the module-specific
manuals currently available with the MODIS™ unit.
z To use Tool Help:
1. From the main menu, select Utilities > Tool Help.
The Tool Help screen displays.

2. Select a topic from the table of contents frame.
The topic text displays in the content frame.
3. Press the right c arrow to move screen focus to the right pane, and press the up b and
down d arrows as needed to scroll through additional text not displayed.
4. Press the left e arrow to return to the table of contents frame.
z To expand a table of contents book:
1. Select a book.
A submenu of related topics displays.
2. Select a topic.
The topic text displays in the right frame.
z To exit Tool Help:
• Press N/X twice.
5.8.7 Easy Scroll
The Easy Scroll utility functions as a selection shortcut that lets you use only the Thumb Pad
arrows to highlight and select an item.
Refer to “Easy Scroll” on page 24 for more information on navigating with Easy Scroll.
