Chapter 6 Maintenance
This section describes maintenance for the following MODIS™ parts and accessories:
Disposal
Cleaning and damage inspection

6.1 Disposal
Products bearing the WEEE logo (Figure 6-1) are subject to separate collection systems in the
European Union.

Always dispose of materials according to local regulations.

6.2 Cleaning and Damage Inspection
When using the MODIS™ unit, make sure to do the following:
Before and after each use, check the housing, wiring, and connectors for dirt and damage.
At the end of each working day, clean the housing, wiring, and connectors with a soft, clean
cloth and gentle all-purpose cleaner.
IMPORTANT:
Avoid using abrasive or corrosive cleaning products, especially when cleaning the screen. Never
allow liquid to enter the unit as this can cause permanent damage.
