The applications software can be updated with the Soehnle Professional Micro-SD card (high-quality
SLC memory card). The file with the software must be located on the SD card. The file name for
revision 1.00 is IMAGE100.LRS.
The update is started by pressing the ON/OFF key and the Enter key together while the unit is shut
down and disconnected from power.
The display shows the following symbol:
If the installed software corresponds to the software revision on the SD card, this step is simply
skipped.
The current software revision can be retrieved in Setup Mode / Terminal / Revision / Application
Software AZG.
Bootloader software
The bootloader software can only be updated by the factory.
The current software revision can be retrieved in Setup Mode / Terminal / Revision / Bootloader
Software.
LRS software
The LRS software can only be updated by the factory.
The current software revision can be retrieved in Setup Mode / Terminal / Revision / LRS Software
AZG.
The terminal should be reset after the software update has been completed. Detailed information
about resetting the terminal is found in Section 4.7 on page 36.
After enabling the update function, the actions are entered into a log file.
The entries have the following format:
Line item number, date, time, action code, old revision number, new revision number
Log memory
The current log memory can be retrieved in Setup Mode / Terminal / Error Memory / Log Memory.
Available action codes:
1 Software update successful
2 Log file was recreated
3 Image file invalid
4 Flash programming failed
