Cumulative tare
Auto tare assigns the first large container placed on the scale as the tare weight. Any
different dependent packaging with known tare placed on the scale thereafter is assigned
with cumulative tare/manual entry.
Intermediate tare
Auto tare assigns the first large container placed on the scale as the tare weight. Any
different dependent packaging with unknown tare placed on the scale thereafter is
assigned with intermediate tare.
6.5.11 Fixed tare value memory
Known tare weights can be stored in power failure-proof memory and can be retrieved on demand.
Up to 999 reference weights can be stored in failure-proof memory.
Each memory locations has:
a three-digit sequential number
a name (alpha-numeric, max. 18 characters)
Tare value
a) Retrieving the fixed tare value list to edit the fixed values:
Press the key and then F1 Fixed Tare.
Selecting available fixed values from the list
Page with the F3 or F4 Arrow keys until you have reached the desired memory location; enter the
desired fixed value with F6 Edit.
Direct retrieval with memory location number or part number. Use the number keypad to enter the
part or memory location number. The specification whether the part or memory location number is
retrieved is made in setup mode. The part number is entered as a left aligned search criterion; the
memory location number is entered as a right aligned search criterion Enter the desired fixed value
with F6 Edit
Edit an existing fixed value from the list
Edit the highlighted fixed value with F6.
Parameter name is highlighted; retrieve with F6 Edit, enter with alpha-numeric keypad. Save with F6
Save; cancel without saving the entry with F5 Cancel.
Parameter tare value is highlighted; retrieve with F6 Edit, enter with alpha-numeric keypad. Save
with F6 Save; cancel without saving the entry with F5 Cancel.
Deleting an existing fixed value
Page with F3 and F4 Arrow keys.
Delete the highlighted fixed value with F2 Delete. Confirm with YES by pressing the F1, F2, or F3
keys. The transaction can be canceled with NO by pressing the F4, F5, or F6 keys. The resulting gap
in the sequential numbering will be closed.
