6.6.5 Operating the addition function
Press the Function Page key to start the Addition Function level
Plus F6
Press the F6 Plus key to save the weight on the weighing bridge to the totaling memory. The item
counter and the sequential number are incremented by 1.
Prior to a new totaling transaction, the scale must be relieved by a minimum relief factor specified
in setup mode.
A weight value of 0 or addition without relieving the scale is displayed with "Error 55 - Place
Weight" (relief factor = 0 only requires a weight change).
Gross, tare, and net weights can be added.
Manual F5
The F5 Manual key is used to manually enter weight values and unit counts.
These are entered with the number keypad and confirmed with the F6 Save key.
The Function Page key is used in the data entry window to switch between the programmed
unit of measure, the second unit of measure, and the unit count. Manual entries are marked with
the Manual code in the printed receipt.
The item counter and the sequential number are incremented by 1. Weight readings are added to
the weight total; unit counts are separately added to the unit total.
Cancel F4
The F4 Cancel key is used to cancel or reverse weigh individual items.
Pressing the Cancel key is followed by the prompt to either place the weight to be canceled on the
scale, or to enter the sequential number of the weight to be canceled.
Information about the sequential number can be retrieved with the key combination and F5
Plus.
Use the number keypad to enter the sequential number of the item to be canceled and confirm
with F6 Save.
If no sequential number is entered, the weight value on the scale is saved by pressing the F6 key.
The error message Error 46 is displayed if the scale is not under load.
Cancellations or reverse weighings are marked in the printed receipt as Cancellation.
A cancellation causes the sequential number to be incremented by one, while the item counter is
decremented by one.
If the item counter is 0, no further cancellations are possible; this is displayed by error message
Error 48.
Total F3
The F3 Total key finishes the totaling.
The display now shows the gross, tare, net, and unit count totals, along with the item counter and
the sequential number of the last transaction.
