MODE 1 switch select This item is used exclusively for analog Betacam longitudinal audio playback
adjustment for 625/50 system

Turns on and off the Dolby NR when using a metal tape
0: Dolby NR is turned on usually
1: Dolby NR is turned on and off depending on the setting of the sub LCD menu
(in Audio setting page)

When using an oxide tape, follows the sub LCD menu setting regardless of the
above setting
F02 EMERGENCY TAPE [0] [enable] n
PROTECTION 1 disable This item is used exclusively for servo and mechanical adjustment
After adjustment is completed, return to the factory setting "0: enable"
Selects whether emergency tape protection operation is enabled or not when VTR
detects error in tape transport mechanism
0: Tape protection operation is enabled
1: Tape protection operation is disabled
F13 TRACKING [0] [off] n
CONTROL VIA 1 on This item is used exclusively for video tracking adjustment
SEARCH DIAL After adjustment is completed, return to the factory setting "0: off"
Turns on and off the tracking control operation with SHUTTLE dial
0: Tracking control with SHUTTLE dial is not activated
1: Tracking control becomes active when turning SHUTTLE dial in PLAY mode
F16 DEVICE TYPE [0000] [0] Determines response data to 9-pin remote command DEVICE TYPE REQUEST

If this item is set to values other than the factory-setting (DATA:0000), the
operation of the unit is not ensured under the 9-pin remote command control.
F21 PROCESS CONT VR [0] [off] Selects whether PROCESS CONTROL VR and sub LCD menu setting
LOCAL ENABLE 1 on (in Video setting page) are enabled or not, when LOCAL DISABLE command is
received through the 9-pin remote connector or the setup menu "006: LOCAL
FUNCTION ENABLE" is set to "all disable"
0: Settings of PROCESS CONTROL VR and sub LCD menu are disabled
1: Settings of PROCESS CONTROL VR and sub LCD menu are enabled
