C002 : TOP/END SENSOR
This submenu checks the functions of a tape top sensor and tape end sensor.
(1) Bring a metallic screwdriver near each sensor.
. Confirm that the characters below the corresponding sensor change from
“OFF” to “ON!”.

Never bring the screwdriver into contact with each sensor.
(2) Keep the screwdriver away from each sensor.
. Confirm that the characters below the corresponding sensor return from
“ON!” to “OFF”.
(3) Push the MENU button when terminating the check.
In case of NG
. Check each sensor itself.
. Check the oscillator and detection circuit (IC405 on the SV-194 board) for
sensors.
. Check the sensor input port of CPU (IC116 on the SV-194 board).
