StepDrive Motor System and Focus System
The FOCUS 35 Total Station is equipped with a StepDrive motor system to position the instrument and
the telescope and a servo drive to focus the telescope.
Due to the instrument accuracy it is important to use a high quality tripod and tribrach. It is also
important to set up the tripod in a position for best stability, as shown. An unstable setup that could
negatively influence the resulting measurement precision.
