Each POS module has a set of LEDs that are described in Table 10-2.
Table 10-2. LED Functions for POS Modules

TX/INIT Red
Green (flashing)
Link is not ready.
Frame is transmitted.
Off – Ready.
RX ERR Red (flashing)
Green (flashing)
Rx frame is received with a CRC error.
Rx frame is received.
Off – Not receiving.
MGMT/
LOF
Yel low
Green (flashing)
Loss of Frame condition exists.
"Management" frame is received.
LOS Yellow Loss of signal (optical signal) condition exists.
TRIG/LOS
Green
Yel low

When a triggered frame is received.
