In the Data logging mode, you always start with a
screen displaying measuring point number, measur-
ing point name, measuring technique (here SPM) and
the running number of the reading (1).
• Press ENT to continue.
The display of the previous reading (2), downloaded
from the PC, is recognized by the date in line 2, below
the measuring point number.
• Connect the transducer to the measuring point
and press M to continue.
While the measurement is in progress (3), the display
shows the basic bearing data, the transducer type
used (lower right hand corner), and the number of
accumulated readings.
With the new results (4), you also get the number of
the SPM reading taken (READ 1 on line 2). Now you
have several alternatives:
• You can press ENT to store the reading and
continue to the next measurement.
• You can press M to take another reading. It will
be marked READ 2. You can temporarily store 5
readings (if you take more, READ 5 will be re-
placed by the latest), leaf through them with
RIGHT / LEFT, and press ENT when the reading
you want to store is on the screen. This reading
will become ”READ 1”, the others will be de-
leted.
• You can press SET and select one or more of the
downloaded comments (see below).
The display of comments (5) shows their codes and
the title of the comment which is marked with a cur-
sor (>). To select one or more comments:
• Move the cursor with UP / DOWN to the com-
ment.
• Press SET to select: This sets a star (*) behind the
comment code.
• Select more comments or press ENT to exit, then
ENT again to store reading and comment(s).
