Select menu
Instrument Setup
With the RIGHT or LEFT arrow key, one can leaf
through four menus, Bearing Test, Vibrameter, De-
fault test (= Data logger mode), and the Select menu
shown in figure 3. The Select menu is used to define
the instrument setup and adjust the instrument clock:
Unit for Vibration Reading
Move the cursor to SETUP with SET, press ENT.
Press UP or DOWN to switch between the units
mm/s and inch/s.
Display Language
Press SET to move the cursor to the language
line.
Press UP or DOWN until the desired language is
displayed, e.g. ENGLISH.
Switch-off Time
Move the cursor to the OFF line with SET.
Press the UP or DOWN key to set the desired
switch-off time (the instrument will switch off
when no key is pressed during this time, and will
return to the menu last used when a key is
pressed).
Press ENT to enter these settings and exit.
Instrument Clock
When the A2011 is used as a data logger, instrument
time and PC time must not differ more than 5 min-
utes. To adjust the time:
Move the cursor to TIME with SET, press ENT.
Press SET to move the cursor to the year. Adjust
with UP or DOWN, and/or use the RIGHT arrow
to move to month and day. Adjust with UP or
DOWN.
Move to the time with SET, adjust as above.
Press ENT to enter these settings and exit.
Programme Version
Displayed are the version number and date of the
operating programme for the instrument (PRO-38).
Exit with ENT.
Default Test Menu
The Default test menu is only shown on new instru-
ments. It will be replaced by the user's measuring
point data once a measuring round is downloaded.
