ENGINE HOOD
1. To open the engine hood, pull the
release knob located on the lower
left side of the steering wheel to
unlatch the engine hood.
2. Slightly lift up the engine
hood and raise up the safety
latch lever with your fingers.
Then, completely lift up the
engine hood.
• When you open the hood while the engine is running, extra cau-
tion is needed to avoid any injuries by the moving parts in the
engine compartment.
• Before driving, try to pull up the front edge of the hood to check
that the hood is securely latched.
