5.9.3 Firmware OVP
Firmware OVP is the slowest overvoltage protection. Therefore, it is recommended to set its threshold as the
lowest among the available over-voltage protections. It monitors the rectifier voltage and can be configured to
disable the device’s output and/or force the receiver to send an EPT packet when triggered. The threshold can be
adjusted from 0 to 16 V.

5.9.4 Overcurrent protections (OCP)
The STWLC38 IC is equipped with 2 separate overcurrent protections – one operated by hardware and one
managed by the firmware.
