The ARC mode is dedicated rectifier setting what allows to increase the spatial freedom of position. The ARC
mode is automatically enabled and the IC stays in ARC mode until the Vrect exceeds the set threshold (RX ARC
THRES). Then the ARC mode is disabled, the rectifier switches to a different operating mode where output can
be enabled.
The table below shows how ARC mode improves ping up spatial freedom.

STWLC38 can operate fully independently i.e., without being interfaced with a host system. In applications in
which the STWLC38 is a part of peripherals managed by the host system, the two SDA and SCL pins could be
connected to the existing I

C bus. The device works as an I

C slave and supports standard (100 kbps), fast (400
kbps). STWLC38 has been assigned 0x61 7-bit hardware address.
