5.9.5 Overtemperature protections (OVTP)

The STWLC38 IC is equipped with one overtemperature protection operated by hardware and one managed by

the firmware.

The hardware OVTP (called TSHUT) causes the AC1 and AC2 pins to be shorted to ground when triggered. The

default threshold value is set to 105 °C (released at 95 °C), however the threshold can be adjusted in the GUI (10

°C step).
