End power transfer (EPT) is used by the power receiver to request power transfer termination. The power
transmitter shall terminate the power transfer immediately after receiving an EPT packet. The EPT packet
should contain a message indicating the reason for the termination. The following table lists the codes used
for various reasons.
Table 4. EPT codes
Reason Value Recommended usage of the values (Informative)
EPT/nul 0x00 use if none of the other codes is appropriate
EPT/cc 0x01 charge complete; use to indicate that the battery is full
EPT/if 0x02 internal fault; use if an internal logic error has been encountered
EPT/ot 0x03 Over-temperature, use if (e.g.) the battery temperature exceeds a limit.
EPT/ov 0x04 Over-voltage; use if a voltage exceeds a limit
EPT/oc 0x05 Over-current; use if the current exceeds a limit
EPT/bf 0x06 battery failure: use if the battery cannot be charged
EPT/nr 0x08 no response: use if the target operating point cannot be reached
EPT/an 0x0A aborted negotiation: use if Power Transfer Contract cannot be negotiated
EPT/rst 0x0B restart; use to restart the power transfer
5.12 Adaptive rectifier configuration (ARC) mode
ARC mode improves the ping-up and spatial freedom of the system in both X and Y directions during power
transfer, without any change in hardware or optimization of the coil. The feature mode can provide up to 3
additional millimeters of spatial freedom in the 4 basic spatial directions (up/down/left/right). The ARC mode
function can be configured to be disabled by the firmware after VRECT voltage rises above a set threshold, the
threshold can be configured in the GUI.
The 3 mm improvement is depending on the coils used in Wireless charging system. The result was validated
with the following RX and TX setup.
