4.8 BOOM SWING
F series excavators are equipped with boom swing
structure—swing head (as right picture)
Boom swing pedal is located on the right foot of driver, it is used
to swing boom, upper structure (cab, engine parts etc.) do not
swing, this device is used to excavate a ditch or a retaining wall.
A. Step on right side of pedal, swing boom to the right side.
B. Step on left side of pedal, swing boom to the left side.
When boom swing pedal is out of use, push down pedal
cover 2 and lock pedal 1. When unlocking, just pull up the
pedal cover 2.
The figures show the boom distance from upper-structure central line.
A The distance is from the central line of upper-structure
to left swing.
B The distance is from the central line of
upper-structure to right swing.
