4.9 OPERATION OF TWO BOOM SECTIONS
SWE90UF-2PB boom includes section one, section two,
and two swing cylinders, as shown in FIG. 4.9.1. Two boom
sections increase the working range of the excavator.
As the traditional control method, right pilot handle
controls the boom section one. Control description is as
below:
Turn the right pilot handle rightward to lift up the
boom section one;
Turn the right pilot handle forward to lower the boom
section one.

Right foot pedal controls the boom section two, it
locates at the right position of the driver, as shown in FIG.
4.9.2. And the operation details are as below.
Step on the left end of the pedal to lift up the boom section two;
Step on the right end of the pedal to lower the boom section two.
If boom deflection function is not needed, lower down the foot
pedal cover 2 to lock the pedal control plate 1. Before unlocking, turn
up the foot pedal cover.
*Note: The control method is different with the configuration.
