14.1. Web Downloads

Downloads include:
A. GUI program
This is a “Graphical User Interface” program that gives you remote control of the power supply using
the LAN network
B. IVI-COM Drivers
These are “Interchangeable Virtual Instrument” drivers that allow you quickly write automation
programs in National Instruments LabView, Microsoft Visual Studio and other environments. Some
“Getting Started” tutorials are available. See section 8 for more details
C. Socket Program Examples
Programs using TCP and UDP sockets are available for Visual Studio 2005 C# (with .NET drivers),
Visual Studio 6 C++ (with Winsock drivers) and Linux C.
D. VXI-11 Discovery Utility
This is a simple utility program that will send a broadcast packet onto the LAN network and check
any responses from VXI-11 compliant instruments. The utility will display a list of detected
instruments along with the IP and manufacturer identity information. The Visual Studio 2005 C#
solution (source code and executable) is given
