> Pressing the Sound off/on key turns the sound off, renewed pressing of this key
turns the sound on again.
7.5 Toggling between TV and radio
Beside the TV channels, the pre-programming of the receiver also includes radio stations.
> Using the key TV/Radio activate the radio. The receiver will now tune into the radio
station, which was last listened to.
> By pressing the key TV/Radio again the last viewed TV channel will be turned on.
or
> Press the key Mode twice on the appliance to enter the TV-radio selection mode.
The active mode has been marked.
> Now highlight the required mode using the up/down channel keys to select the
required mode and set it by pressing OK on the appliance.

Selection of another language (TV mode) or station (radio mode)
If a TV channel is broadcast in several languages or using several audio channels or
several radio stations are available, this will be shown in a pop-up message. In such cases
you are able to select a different language or a different audio channel as follows:
> Press the Option key. A list wil now be displayed which shows the currently available
languages or radio stations on-screen.
> Select the required language or required radio channel with the arrow keys
up/down and confirm with OK.
> You can now listen to the broadcast in the set language. Your digital receiver can also
receive mono broadcasts.
> Using the right/left arrow keys you are able to chose from mono channel 1 ( ),
mono channel 2 ( ) and stereo ( ).
7.6.1 Dolby Digital (AC3-mode)
If a channel is broadcast in Dolby Digital sound, this is shown with the DOLBY/LOGO in the
info box when switching on the channel. If the function Dolby Digital (AC3) has been acti-
vates according to Section 6.3.6, this channel will be shown in this format automatically.
If the function Dolby Digital (AC3) has not been activated, the appliance must be set to
AC3 mode as follows:
> Press the Option key. If broadcast, a list of currently broadcast languages and
Dolby Digital (AC 3) will be displayed on-screen.
> Highlight the line Dolby Digital using the up/down arrow keys.
> Confirm with OK.
You can now listen to the broadcast in Dolby-Digital sound. If you would like your appliance
to show channels in Dolby Digital automaticallyt, please set your appliance to automatic AC3
reception as described in Section 6.3.6.
