8.2 Programming of the electronic programme guide
Your appliance is able to receive a data channel containing additional SFI data via the
ASTRA satellite system (19° East). This enables an SFI preview of up to one week.
> Call the Main menu with the Menu key.
> Highlight the line Settings with them help of the up/down arrow.
> Acknowledge by pressing the OK key. The Settings submenu is displayed.
> Select the line channel guide with the arrow keys up/down.
> Confirm by pressing the OK key. The channel guide menu is displayed.
> With the up/down arrow keys you are able to move the cursor within the menu,
changing individual positions as stated. Please observe the screen inserts when
selecting a menu option, if applicable.
8.2.1 Update
> In order to receive the data channel, select the line Update.
> Set by pressing OK on.
8.2.2 Update time
> Set time at which the automatic download of the SFI data should be accomplished in
the line Update time by means of the numeric keyboard.
8.2.3 SFI channel
> Press OK, to call the SFI channel submenu.
You can carry out corrections in this menu, if the data channel parameters for importing the
SFI list have changed. You can find out the current transponder data from specialist shops.
Under normal circumstances you should not carry out any changes in this menu.
8.2.4 Select TV-channel
In order to gain a better overview, you can sort the electronic programme guide SFI in such a
way, that it only contains your favourite channels.
Please note:
The more channels the electronic programme guide contains, the longer it takes to import
the SFI data!
The maximum preview period of seven days can also not be attained with an increasing
number of channels in the electronic channel guide.
> Press the key OK. The Favourites list of the TV/list will be displayed. The currently
set channel has been marked.
> Pressing the red function keywill display a pop-up menu. You now have the option of
selecting the required channel list type.
> Select by using the up/down arrow keys the required channel categeory (e.g.
Favorites list).
> Confirm with OK. The selected channel list is displayed.
> Highlight by using the arrow keys a channel, which you would like to add to the
electronic channel guide.
